The Lucky Seven Challenge!

Online Donation Station
DonateNowWATF’s new secure online donation station from Network for Good is now in place! Schedule a one-time donation or spread your donation out with easy monthly payments by clicking here or the "Donate Now" button to the right.
With your help, WATF hopes to purchase four new CCTV Magnifiers for its CCTV Rental Program in efforts to meet the Lucky Seven Challenge.

WATF needs your help in meeting the Lucky Seven Challenge!
Your donation will be matched dollar for dollar by a generous challenge grant from the Lucky Seven Foundation. This grant -- and matching funds – will be used to purchase four new desktop Magnifiers for our CCTV rental program. CCTVs are powerful desk-top magnifiers used by individuals with vision loss to read, write, manage finances and medical information, cook and stay in touch with family and friends – in short, to remain active, engaged and independent!  WATF’s rental program primarily benefits low income seniors who could not otherwise afford to purchase a CCTV. Demand for this popular program consistently outpaces the 48 units available -- meaning waits of up to six months for our participants – most of whom are in their 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. You can find out the latest results from our CCTV Renter Survey by clicking here. Your generous donation will help us shorten the wait time as we continue to raise funds for new units.

Picture of CCTV MagnifierLucky Seven has agreed to match up to $5000 for every dollar or pledge from new individual donors or current donors who agree to double last year’s giving. If you would prefer (or you don’t meet the Lucky Seven Guidelines), your donation can be designated to support WATF’s other programs including our low-interest assistive technology and business equipment loans and our new assistive technology Individual Development Account (matched savings) pilot program.

Whatever program you choose, rest assured that your gift will be put to work in our efforts to improve access to technology and economic opportunity for people with disabilities throughout Washington State.

Please don’t forget to let us know if your employer has a matching gifts program.

Thank you for supporting WATF!
