FIND & BUY THE RIGHT ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY
Do you use assistive technology like ramps, hearing aids, wheelchairs or specialized computers? If so you know that selecting the right assistive technology for your needs can be difficult and costly. This workshop will walk you through the steps to successfully find the right assistive technology for your needs and introduce you to all of the funding sources available to purchase your assistive technology.

Do you have a small business idea that needs money to get started? Are you running a small business that needs funding to bring it to the next level? This workshop will discuss what business funding options are available to people with disabilities in Washington State.

IMPROVING YOUR CREDIT SCORE & SETTING A BUDGET
Do you dream of owning a home or starting a business, but you're concerned that your finances will hold you back? WATF is partnering with SNAP and the ARC to offer this workshop on budgeting & spending, saving tips, bank programs, understanding credit and your credit report. Tips on re-establishing credit also included. Attend this workshop to make your financial dreams come true!

ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY IDA ORIENTATION
Leverage your money with an IDA Savings Account. WATF is excited to announce the launch of a new “Individual Development Account” (“IDA”) program for purchases of assistive technology. Low income individuals and households who establish a special Assistive Technology savings account and save at least $10 per month will be eligible to receive matching funds from United Way of King County and the state of Washington towards the purchase of their Assistive Technology. We are still working out the details but please contact Frances Pennell immediately to sign up for the first IDA Orientation on January 23rd from 3:30pm - 5:30pm.
